Tales on Stage: Theater Meets Boccaccio
For this special edition, we are delighted to host two theater companies that will bring to life some of Giovanni Boccaccio's most celebrated tales. The great Tuscan writer, who inspired the name and spirit of our event, will take center stage through captivating performances.
I Cettardini:
With their lively and witty
style, I Cettardini will perform the most amusing and
enthralling stories from The Decameron. Through engaging and
humorous performances, they will transform the MEDIEVAL
VILLAGE into a natural stage, offering moments of pure
entertainment and culture.
Passi di Luce:
Passi di Luce will
interpret Boccaccio's tales with a more poetic and evocative
approach. Through movement and spoken word, they will create magical
atmospheres, transporting the audience into the heart of Tuscan
medieval tradition.

walking tour featuring 4 food stops and a final lunch.
This edition will take you on a more rural route, offering a fresh
perspective on the historic center.
Stroll through vineyards and
olive groves in our countryside before reaching Certaldo
Alto.
The 7th edition brings many surprises to the medieval village and its food stops, where you'll discover snippets of Boccaccio's life and tales. We'll also visit the Tabernacolo dei Giustiziati and have a guide share the story of Beata Giulia.
