The Vicario is one of the six Rioni (districts) born from the division of Certaldo to compete in the Palio della Disfida dei Rioni del Calambur.

Not only was it the FIRST winner of the Calambur, but today, this Rione is a full-fledged association deeply committed to cultural, sporting, and—above all—social initiatives. Beyond our many events, we take pride in:

• Co-organizing parent workshops on cyberbullying in local schools.

• Hosting dinners to support the Ass. Genitori Disabili (Parents of Disabled Children Association).

• Fundraising for LILITH, an association protecting survivors of domestic abuse.

• Promoting exhibitions and events that celebrate Certaldo's people, stories, and history.

• Partnering with institutions for "AbbraciAMO il Centro Italia", raising funds for communities affected by earthquakes.

• Collaborating with the Giglioli nursing home to entertain and connect with elders.

• Supporting the Red Cross.

In short, we're a growing group—fueled by passion, ideas, and a love for sharing, participating, and belonging to a Rione, a town, a community.
